What is a Profile Used For? Drywall, also known as plasterboard, is a panel with cardboard on both sides and plaster on the middle.

It can be manufactured in the desired dimensions, standard or custom sizes, and is a product especially used when characterizing interior spaces such as floor covering, wall cladding, area partitioning, suspended ceilings, and similar. The installation process involves nailing onto a wooden frame; attaching to an existing wall, but most often it is applied to a metal frame with screws.

Other Products and Applications; Hanger: attached to a hanging rod, it carries the main load‑bearing ceiling profiles. Clip: a component used to connect profiles together.

Add‑on piece: applied by attaching to the additional locations of the profiles, it helps connect the profiles together. Staple: mounted between the existing wall and the plasterboard, it increases the durability of the plasterboard and reduces its flexing.

In ceiling applications, it is used instead of a hanger when the distance between the existing floor and the suspended ceiling is small.
